Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025

However, when i insert a 4k, MakeMKV doesn't recognize the disc and simply states that there are no disc. Does tha...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025

So we mostly do not need to grease anything inside these drives right - Thanks
Correct it would be many years before it's needed

Lithium based products have taken over these applications almost entirely.

I'm looking to rip standard blurays, many but not all are Verbatim BD50 BD-R rewriteable.
What?
Standard Blu-rays are not written on verbatim discs
You are trying retail discs?
Or burned knockoffs?

Re: All Pioneer drives will be LibreDrive supported

Billy- are these motors brushless types? If not, something containing silicone is the worst you can use since it increases wear big time on motor brushes. Even if not applied directly the silicone will spread within the drive and will cause wear. Petroleum based grease would be worse because it deg...

What do you use to grease the drive belt ?
You don't grease the belt it would slip

The rails and motor shaft you can use silicone paste it the safest and non reactive but really not needed for many years

Re: Billycar11 Selling Flashed Pioneer UHD Drives USA only, Remote Flashing,Tested & Makemkv Discount Code

I think you need to specify more about how you need to modify the OWC case to get the drives to fit. Just saw this Louis Rossman video where the title calls it junk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrQItPs4gTA Trust me the other option is even worse junk This one you just need to slightly modify it...
