External optical drive must have been failing! Ordered a replacement and everything back to normal.

Downgraded to version 1.8.11 and continue to get the error: 'Scsi error - STATUS_05' occurred while reading ..... This is the message I have been frequently experiencing. Since about June I have been a really difficult time using MakeMKV. I'm not sure if it's hardware or software related.
