Re: Windows 10 Crashing 1.9.5
Thanks for your replies. I got it working! I added all exe-files to the exclusion list of processes and files/folders, then reverted back the changes. When I blocked makemkvcon64.exe as the last process, and no other files/folders were in excluded files/folders, it stopped working, so I guess the so...

Re: Windows 10 Crashing 1.9.5
I have the exact same issue. I'm using Windows 10 Home with BitDefender 2015 Plus (bought). I open MakeMKV 1.9.5 and a popup says "MakeMKV-BETA Benachrichtigungsfenster" ('MakeMKV-BETA Message Window', in the title), "Fehler aufgetreten, Programm wird beendet." ('An error occured...

Re: ARMv6 support / Raspberry Pi
Pi-Support would be so awesome! They are cheap and are running the whole day. I could insert a Bluray, push a button on the Pi and watch the ripped movie the other day (still wondering about the processing power).

Re: MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
That's a really neat case, but I need 4+ HDDs + optical drive, so I sticked to the Lian Li PC-Q08B Mini-ITX Cube Replaced the front 140mm and top 120mm fans with Be Quiet!s and it works like a charm ... apart from the optical drive

Re: MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
I got a replacement from Amazon and it works fine. I'm glad this is fixed, though it was a real hassle to extract the drive from my HTPC :-/

Re: MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
Well, I like it silent, though I rip all blurays I have and streaming from my server.
I've no problem compressing blurays because I have a neat computer/CPU at work and can do it there.

Re: MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
Hi,
Thanks for your advice. I tested Ubuntu 13.04 live and it didn't work there as well. I guess I'll return the drive to Amazon.
Again, I wonder whether there is a list of good/silent BluRay drives suitable for my HTPC?

Re: MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
Hi there,
I'm afraid that didn't help either. I've started MakeMKV as admin and it didn't read the BluRay as well. I guess it's a case for RMA, or do you have any other ideas?
If I returned it and were refunded, which BluRay drive can you recommend? Is there a list of "good" drives?

Re: MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
Does Windows see DVD s in the drive? Yeah, DVDs work and MakeMKV offers to rip them. Sounds more like the bluray drive is damaged or used up.. What if you use the bluray drive in another pc? I was able to read the BluRay discs in my notebook and are currently ripping BluRays there as a replacement ...

Re: MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
I don't have any BluRay player software, so I cannot check this, but I can tell you that even Windows does not detect the disc :-/

MakeMKV not recognizing BluRay discs anymore
Hi everyone, I don't know why, but MakeMKV is not recognizing any BluRay disc anymore. DVDs are read fine, but no BluRays. MakeMKV just says that there was no disc inserted. I'm not sure which information you need to help me, but the following is the status of my HTPC: Windows 8.1 x64 Mainboard: Asu...
