Ok, confusing, but found the answer. I should have read further, ie this post... As stated on a main page all features of MakeMKV are free while program is in beta. You may purchase the full activation key if you like the program and want to show your support, but you also may use the temporary beta...

Ok, just for further information.
Downloaded the program a fresh and installed on a completely different pc.
Program installed ok, but EXACT same error message comes up straight away.
So, problem no on users end.... but with bug in MKV new release file ????

Got the exact same problem. Brand new user to Makemkv having recently only heard about it. Install Makemkv about 7 days ago, now get the EXACT same message as you. :( Did the usual things of RegClean and System Restore, but to no avail, same problem as you. Can anyone help ? Thanks. :) Moderator ???
