Re: Dump Submitted - German "In A Violent Nature" 4K UHD
No, this does not work. As far as I know I need to chose "Backup" frome MakeMKV's menu to decrypt files. This is only possible if there is a physical disk in a physical drive, I cannot chose this for an iso-file. I am able to open an iso-file, but this is processing the contents so that I ...

Re: Dump Submitted - German "In A Violent Nature" 4K UHD
So it seems the best way is to use mkvtoolnix in that case to mux the mkv, right? I have the "violent nature" files on disk, but still encrypted (backed up that disk without decrypting with MakeMKV). Is there any chance to decrypt the files on disk (with MakeMKV, without the original disk)...

Re: Dump Submitted - German "In A Violent Nature" 4K UHD
But normally there are differences of very few ms. In that example the differences are very high (more than 300ms). And MakeMKV ends with: "AV sync issue in stream 0: video stream has 84448 frames with invalid timecodes". I never saw that before, it is also different to the messages which ...

Re: Dump Submitted - German "In A Violent Nature" 4K UHD
It seems to work, but gives many errors: AV sync issues in stream 0 at 0:00:05,422: secondary stream video frame timecode differs -333.672ms AV sync issues in stream 0 at 0:00:05,422: secondary stream video frame timecode differs -375.383ms AV sync issues in stream 0 at 0:00:05,422: secondary stream...

Re: Recommendation for best (most reliable and versatile) LibreDrive for 2024?
Hi,
my 5 year old drive seems to be dying. I am really interested in a recommendation for a current 5,25" drive which can be bought in Germany.
Thanks!

Re: AACS V64 - host certificate is revoked by your drive
I have the very same problem. I opened "Marrowbone" bluray, which is AACS v66 according to MakeMKV. Now I am not able to open any bluray at all, I always get "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive. The volume key is unknown ...

Re: Hard coded subtitles query and issue on 'The Mummy' BluR
But I can only remove selection, can't I? This won't lead to subtitle tracks above 30+ being selectable in MakeMKV?Assuming you've got expert mode turned on, you can remove any subtitle tracks that aren't in your preferred language quite easily using a selection rule

Re: Hard coded subtitles query and issue on 'The Mummy' BluR
Is there no way to rip The Mummy 1+2?
I can actually send debug information if required.
MakeMKV detects 2 english PGS tracks and 4 english TextST tracks.
Although ripping all 6 english subtitle tracks, the forced subs are not displayed.

Re: Hard coded subtitles query and issue on 'The Mummy' BluR
The same probleme is here with "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns".
The movies actually contain forced subtitles, but that tracks cannot be ripped. Although ripping all english subtitle tracks none of them contains the forced ones.
