So is there no chance to rip this disk successfully with MakeMKV?

Re: Wrong default playlist on Zombieland
That checkbox "Open DVD manually" is missing, although expert mode is enabled and although I am using 1.9.0.ABOVE that, you will see a summary of the disk, listing the type disk, label on the disk, protection type, and (now) "Open DVD manually" next to a check box.

Re: Wrong default playlist on Zombieland
This topic has an example of how it works: The example is . Please do the following - enable expert mode in preferences, then check "open DVD in manual mode" mark. Press the big button, and when MakeMKV asks you for "manual string" enter the number 19 . But I don't see "ope...

Wrong default playlist on Zombieland
When I open the German Zombieland Bluray, MakeMKV chooses the wrong default playlist. The correct playlist with 16 chapters is 00001.mpls. But MakeMKV choses 00002.mpls (with 23 chapters). It states "Title 00001.mpls is equal to title 00002.mpls and was skipped", although they are not equa...

Re: Wrong Chapter Timing
Is there no other (more easy) way to fix the wrong chapter timings than the one described above?

Problem with Steven Wilson - Drive Home
I have some problems with Steven Wilson's Blu-ray "Drive Home". The Blu-ray consists of several m2ts-files, which each contain a song. If I rip the Blu-Ray, the songs are combined in the mkv file. But there are some important frames dropped, which leads to one track missing the first milli...

Re: Wrong Chapter Timing
Is there an easy way to fix the chapter timings if MakeMKV's behaviour is not changed? The most easy way I found out is: - export chapter information from bluray with ChapterGen - load generated OGG text file into chapter editor of mkvmergeGUI - save chapter information into mkv file generated with ...

Re: Wrong Chapter Timing
It was not changed (next I-Frame), however there was a bug that caused an incorrect I-frame to be selected. The chapters in mkv files created with 1.8.11 sometimes begin some ms too early, e.g. in converted movie "Cloud Atlas" nearly every chapter begins with a frame of the last chapter. ...

Re: Wrong Chapter Timing
Hmm, no reply to my question, so I guess MakeMKV's approach won't be changed. Is there an easy way to adjust the chapters manually? I can try and adjust the chapters manually in chapter editor of Mkvtoolnix but that is really no fun. Can I grab the chapter information from Bluray somehow and adjust ...

Different file sizes
When I rip a Bluray to MKV I do select the Subtitle track(s) in my favourite language and I also check the option "Forced only". If the Subtitle track does not contain any forced subs, MakeMKV removes the unnecessary track at the end of ripping. When I rip the disc without checking the Opt...

Re: Wrong Chapter Timing
Is there anything new about this? I also have the problem that some chapters start too early, which leads to glitches. Will this be changed/fixed?

Re: No audio The Recruit
In the worst case you can re-run MKV file through latest MakeMKV, and it will fix the timecodes. Will there be any log messages in that case? I just re-run a MKV file (created with MakeMKV 1.8.10) through MakeMKV 1.8.11 and I have several log messages about AV sync issues and invalid timecodes: Mak...

Re: No audio The Recruit
Audio timecodes are always correct. 1.8.9-1.8.10 was putting occasionally incorrect timecodes on B-frames in video stream (and the difference was almost always less than 1 millisecond). These timecodes (on B-frames) are ignored by pretty much every software besides MakeMKV, and that's why it was no...
