Re: BR ISO to single MKV file
Is it possible to convert a BR ISO into a single MKV file, rather than the 30-40+ that I am seeing generated? Thanks. The majority of those titles have nothing to do with the movie. The entire is contained in just one of those many many files you see listed. Usually it's the largest one listed. The...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
TolkienBard, I am really sorry, It is supposed to skip ones that say they are already completed. I will definitely look at that and release a new version right away. I've made so many changes recently, I forgot to check that. I'll have a new version out there for you sometime today. No biggie. This...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
So, I just learned something the painful way. There were a few movies in the queue that did not get converted because the PC went through an auto restart while I wasn't paying attention. That part is entirely my fault and no big deal. When I re-opened the batch converter, the queue was still there. ...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
TolkienBard, I'm assuming your app isn't Java driven? My guess the speed is most likely the difference between Java and C/C++. I've thought about writing it in C#, but I don't really have the development software. I'm currently using C# to start up the Java application. Microsoft has a free version...

Sadly, I'm not familiar with Total Commander. I'll have to take a look in the morning during coffee.Chetwood wrote:No screenshot yet, you could mask an URL to an external source so you don't have to wait for approval. I guess, what you want can be done with Total Commander easily.

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
The link seems to not like my Chrome Browser for whatever reason. However, opening it through IE did work. I'm trying out a batch now and will let you know in the morning how it went. I really like the function to have it delete the Video_TS folder once it is done converting a movie. That function a...

Re: Movies2MKV Converter
The Download application link is currently broken. I'd love to test this out as I am having one minor issue with my other batch conversion solution.

Re: MakeMKV Batch Converter
It appears to only drop the first letter if I select an entire disc drive. If I select a specific folder, then it doesn't do that. Weird. I was wondering about this as well. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening or how to address it? Using the batch converter is saving me loads of ...

Re: new verison "too old" even after re install help
As of this morning, I am having the very same problem. I'm not sure what has caused this to start happening. It was working just fine at 1:30 a.m. but is now annoyingly uncooperative at 8:45 a.m.

Re: Problems with makemkvcon
I looked all over, but stayed out of the "Advanced User" stuff. This is awesome. Not only were you able to answer my question, but the solution to my problem is all there in one place, in such a manner that even a programming idiot like myself can understand.

After spending many months downloading my DVDs and Blu-rays onto 30 TB worth of hard drives, I was rather excited to get up and running with my spiffy new HTPC. Lo and behold, all my movies are either Video-TS (the DVDs) or ISO (the BDs). Needless to say, I was less than thrilled to learn I had scre...
