Everything works great. I want to start ripping my Blu-Rays and adding them to PLEX as well. Anyone else using ...

Re: Converting .dvdmedia to MKV with no loss in quality
So I just tried out MakeMKV...
The source file was 6.41GB and the output file was 6.2GB
Why is the file size smaller if there is no compression?
The source file did not include any DVD menus, etc. Just the movie.

Re: Converting .dvdmedia to MKV with no loss in quality
Thanks for the post.
Glad to hear there is absolutely no quality change with both audio and video.
Is the output file the same exact size as the source?

Converting .dvdmedia to MKV with no loss in quality
Hey there - Newbie here. I am trying to convert all of my .dvdmedia ISO files to MKV. But I want to make sure there is absolutely no loss in the audio/video quality. Does MakeMKV allow for this? Also - when I rip a DVD to .dvdmedia the file output size is the same as the actual DVD movie. Does MakeM...
