Re: Hitchcock - failed to open
Try getting new makemkv key from the news part for the forum (http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic ... 3548#p3548). Then try ripping the disc again with anydvdhd disabled.

Re: One Direction-Where We Are
Make sure the disc is clean and try again. If it is happening to all discs then it might mean that your bluray/dvd drive needs to be replaced.

Re: errors burning multiple titles
That error is saying that it can't read the disc. Clean the disc and try again, if that doesn't work try another drive or get the disc replaced.

Re: Dr. Strangelove HD audio problem
Are you able to test the mkv with VLC or MPC-HC to see if it does the same thing? Does the same thing happen if you rip the HD audio to FLAC?

Re: Ripping time too long
What speed was MakeMKV reporting when you were ripping the disc?
If the disc is slightly scratched or dirty it can slow down ripping a lot. Also factor in that dual layer discs rip slower than single layer discs (dual = 8x, single =12x) for that pioneer drive.

Re: Transformers Age of Instinction shrinking down file size
The RF encoded size depends on the source. If the movie has a lot of noise, grain or action it can really drive the bitrate up. You either need to denoise the source when encoding or use 2pass set to 4gb.

Re: Downfall and North Face -no sound for both?
Can you make sure that the audio is actually selected under the title, select both DTS-MA and DTS under the DTS-MA sub menu.
