Re: Dolby Atmos

I think the biggest problem is going to be playing back ATMOS using your HTPC. For me and many others playing it back with OpenELEC or XBMC using passthrough is still a long way off from what I can find on the forums. In my opinion ATMOS is worth having even by just adding two ceiling speakers. I ha...

Re: Thor the Dark World audio issues

Odd. My backup of Thor 2 plays fine as far as I noticed. If the rest of the movie is fine and correctly plays the DTS-HD MA audio then I would just use MKVMerge to trim the "bad" part off and mux a new, clean file. Its the first movie I have ever had this problem. I will try re-ripping th...

Re: Audio problems...

Ah, interesting. When i tried to copy the blu ray a message popped up saying i had to get the .dll to continue? I'm using TmT windows media player and Vlc My Blu-ray files play fine with DTS HD Audio in VLC but I get no sound at all in TMT5. I don't think it can decode the DTS HD Audio and a few us...

Re: Blu-ray Chapter section

There are a number of BDs out there where MakeMKV will present the titles out of order in the menu. You can check that by looking at the file names associated with each title - if the number ascend, they're in the right order; if not, find the lowest number with the right length, and that's the fir...

WHS 2011 Advise

I need some advise. I have for the last 5 years been successfully backing up my Blu-rays using My Movies for WHS 2011 and playing them back as an ISO through my HTPC (i5 Intel NUC's) Over the years I have tried other front end's like XBMC, Openelec etc and now that Openelec 4.0 beta seems to be runn...

Thor the Dark World audio issues

I have backed up Thor The Dark World using DTS HD Master audio only and all English subtitles but I notice on playback that for the first few seconds of audio it says, left surround sound, then a bleep and then the normal movie sound starts playing.

Re: Blu-ray Chapter section

Thanks for that paul, as long as I know the rest of the audio and subtitles under the unselected titles won't be pulled thats saving me a lot of time. I normally find DVD TV shows are in order but I check the title in VLC by playing the episode and checking the title it is playing just to be sure. B...

Blu-ray Chapter section

Im converting an ISO of a TV series that is in Blu-ray format. Im ripping it using Make MKV one chapter at a time, What I need to know is obviously I start at chapter 1, I know there is no guarantee that they are in order because of the java but if I deselect all the other chapters it still leaves t...
