I had a similar problem.
I tried using different versions of MakeMKV, because none of them were (in my case) supporting LPCM audio... Nothing really made any change. For a while the files did come out as playable, but the audio was choppy. The new 1.8.8 doesn't rip them at all, of course (known bug ...
