Go Handbrake.
It does a great job and has some handy presets.

I had a similar problem on my older MacBook Pro with a similar looking USB Blu-Ray player. Mine came with a power connector that attached to the USB port on my pc and it worked perfect. Attaching it to my Mac I had to use the power connector on one USB port and there was a 2nd usb to usb cable for t...
