Re: Now you see me 2 correct playlist
Aside from using AnyDVD, how did y'all come up with 626 as the correct playlist? I've been trying to use Process Monitor like usual but it's not finding anything at all, not even a cached file. It stumped me so I just waited to see if others had better luck and it appears so.

Re: Ex Machina
I as well. Was it ever confirmed that MakeMKV can rip the DTS:X audio on this movie like it can with Dolby Atmos audio? Or are we just getting DTS HD MA but without the DTS:X substream or however it's referred to?

Re: "Divergent" "rental" disc correct file number: 810
This thread is over a year old and is about the first movie, Divergent. It appears you're probably thinking it's about the second move, Insurgent, based on your runtime comment. Divergent is 2:19:XX and Insurgent is 1:59:XX. I hope this helps you.

Re: Transformers Age of Extinction
Just got back home and checked my rip and encode from earlier. I had to use tsMuxeR as well to demux the THD track since MakeMKV couldn't see it, then mux it back with my final encoded video stream, and after installing last night's build of MPC-HC and disabling the external LAV audio filter, the TH...

Re: Transformers Age of Extinction
Apparently, last night's nightly build of MPC-HC updated with the latest LAV filters and will now support TrueHD streams with a Dolby Atmos substream. I haven't updated yet to test this out so I can't confirm it'll work.

Re: The Big Bang Theory Season 7
Odd. I bought Season 7 from Target last week and both discs showed all 24 episodes and encoded just fine so I know it's not endemic to all Season 7 sets.

Re: Extended cuts?
I have the same disc. Unfortunately, the 3 cuts are really just 2 cuts and one parody. There's a theatrical and an extended cut of the movie. The third is just a funny spoof that runs less than 2 minutes. I was confused initially, too, until I actually played the disc in my player and saw what was r...

Re: Beauty and the Beast bluray
I had the same problem with my BatB blu ray where it would not finish the rip. It'd get about 2/3 through and fail every time. It wasn't scratched or damaged, I cleaned it, I've ripped literally hundreds and hundreds of other discs so I attributed it to a mastering error or something. I ended up jus...

Re: Thor the Dark World audio issues
Odd. My backup of Thor 2 plays fine as far as I noticed. If the rest of the movie is fine and correctly plays the DTS-HD MA audio then I would just use MKVMerge to trim the "bad" part off and mux a new, clean file.

Fair enough, they're both equally to blame. Either way, it's unfortunate.

Re: Ender's Game Bluray
815 doesn't seem to have an HD audio track? Gronnie is correct. It's sad but more and more studios are leaving off the HD audio tracks from the rental discs from Redbox and Netflix so you only get the lossy DD or DTS track. It's up to you to determine if it makes that much of a difference to buy th...

Re: Is there any way to output a to a single file?
Use the Append option in MKVmerge and it'll take several files and output it to a new, single file. Just be sure to append them individually to make sure you put them in the right order.

Re: Blu-Ray - No Dolby Digital Option?
What specific DVD and BD title(s) are you trying to rip? Some only have DTS options on the BD while the same movie will offer only DD on the DVD release.

Re: Ender's Game Bluray
Thanks. I just ripped all 4 titles that matched the run time reported. Then I skimmed through each of them and 815 is the only one that didn't have any repeats that I noticed so thank you for confirming that.

Re: Ender's Game Bluray
I put it in my player as well and got the same run time of 1:53:48. I'll have to look once I open it in MakeMKV.
