Re: Riddick (2013) Blu-ray gives error... can't open disc.
I have a 2009 MacPro with Pioneer optical drive and Mavericks 9.1. I have learned to first let the BluRay mount onto the desktop and then start MKV 1.8.8. In this sequenc,e I have never had any issues. But a couple of times the disc did require cleaning as got an error while saving the files.

Re: Ender's Game Bluray
Whoops sorry about my previous post... I was not correct t149 (815.mpls) also jumps during the mind game, after the mouse's first try, jumps forward to the Col. and then back to the game. So, that still leaves my question any other good suggestions besides 821 and 815?
Thanks jas

At 30 min, at the end of the eati...

Re: MKV File Compression
Thanks Woodstock... I saw that Nero, does not get real favorable reviews. Let's try a different approach. Forget the compression and simply convert the MKV file to a different format that can be read on the DVD player. My Sony 5100 Blu-Ray reads AVCHD, but I guess older DVD players will only read MP...

MKV File Compression
I would like to fit the MKV files from DVDs onto DVD 5 disks. To reduce the 6 to ± 7 GB to 4.37 GB, should I use Handbrake or another compression program? I would then like to burn these files using a format that could be read by my DVD player. There is so much junk software, that it is very difficu...
