Re: Ubuntu 14.04
Hi gellis, that sounds like the result of an openSSL change that produced the same error on fedora linux (thread: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7370 ). Have you installed makemkv with the ubuntu package manager or from source as described in the following video: http://www.ma...

Re: 1.8.10 fails on Gentoo Linux
Hi,
I've got the same problem on fedora Linux 20 with kernel 3.14.2 and makemkv v1.8.10.
The problem happened for me when I tried to use the FLAC profile to convert 7.1 DTS HD MA to FLAC. Using the default profile works.
Do I have to change the flac conversion setup?
Thank you!

Same for me, Segmentation Fault on startup when configuring with "CFLAGS=-DOPENSSL_NO_EC ./configure" (fedora 20)

I've verified it works on the same machine with VMWare and Windows XP.

Re: AACS errors on Fedora FC 19 X64
Mike,
I booted back to 3.11.8 kernel with the same result.
Sure that's a kernel problem? What about that aacs key story (key on disc made makemkv key invalid?)?

Unable to open any BD with 1.8.7 (fedora 19 with static ffmp
Hi, while beeing delayd for fedora 20 and an offical ffmpeg upgrade, i built 1.8.7 as described with static ffmpeg (2.1.1). MakeMKV works, but I'm unable to open any BD now (even those that worked in the past). It worked with MakeMKV 1.8.5. Any ideas? The output is always: MakeMKV v1.8.7 linux(x64-r...
