Thank you. I think that is correct. Can someone suggest a external BluRay drive which does not have, or could have the riplock removed?

I have just purchased a Mac Book Pro Retina 15" and a Samsung SE-506BB/TSBB external BluRay drive. This is a USB 2.0 drive (seems all Samsung do at the moment). I am getting 2.2x (9.4 M/s) rip speed on a commercial bluRay disc. Is this normal? The drive is rated at 6x speed, and USB 2.0 should ...
