How do you make something better than the original?ndjamena wrote:Considering I can take a DVD and re-encode it to make it better than the original I consider this a moot point!

Re: Lost Girl Season 3
Woodstock,
You are correct. The menu has play all episodes and then you select the episodes. I've never run into this before. I take it there is no way around this?
Thanks

Lost Girl Season 3
I am trying to make a mkv of this season but MakeMKV cannot seem to differentiate the episodes. There are three episodes on the first disc but it only shows on as one on MakeMKV. I tried three different computers and all the same. Same with other discs as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks

MKV of DVD vs MP4 of Blu-ray Quality
Sorry if this has been discussed before but I cannot find such discussion. I was wondering what people thought of the quality between the full copy (mkv) of a DVD vs making a full copy of a Blu-ray and then converting it to a mp4. National Lampoon's Van Wilder Unrated Version
I was trying to make an mkv file of this dvd. The dvd has both the fullscreen and widescreen versions on it. I used VideoLAN to see which title the widescreen was on and did the mkv off of that. The makemkv has two titles showing up: title00 - id 4 - this one is fullscreen title01 - id 5 - this one ...

Re: Monsters University DVD
Woodstock -
I see that now. Somewhat new still but I do see that the Source Title ID is 31 but the filename is title26. That is where I was making my mistake. So that clears everything up. Thanks.

Re: Monsters University DVD
Tolken - As per this dvd (Monsters University), VLC and my blu-ray player shows the title as 31 but when I make the mkv, the segments are out of order for title 31. I'm not sure how that is but the correct title is indeed 26 (thanks hannaman) when I manually checked it against the dvd in the player ...
