@tgui9660, If you have a decent graphics card, use software that can take advantage of NVENC. I have a GTX 1060 (6GB) and I use CloneBD for the HEVC video encoding @ 25 Mb/s. I haven't been able to build 1.8.5 or 1.8.6 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. My thread was met with instructions based on Mac OSX. I haven't a clue where to find dump files to help devs figure things out.

Hello, I've used MakeMKV for some time and simply love it!

That said the 1.8.5 install errors out with a seg fault when launched.

OS: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
