I just want to say thank you guys for this program to allow me to digitise my DVD/Blu Ray collection. Now need to go buy a bigger external HD . Its much appreciated and I can watch movies off my tablet now. So thanks once again.

I have the same issue myself; going to attempt this mktvtoolnix to split now. thanks for the heads up.
[edit] yup the toolnix is working fine, but i found its better to split the episodes by chapter rather than duration. Its accurate and simpler.
