Re: Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (PLAYLIST) Please
For the Target version of the Blu-ray, looks like the source file name is 00992.mpls [Segment map: 508,502,505,504,506,503,501,509,510,507]. I installed Java and pointed MakeMKV to the Java.exe file [Preferences > Protection]. This allows MakeMKV to read the menus on the disc. After you scan the di...

Re: TV show "Play All"
It seemed like it might be easier for a niche purpose, but I think I've found an easier way.

TV show "Play All"
Apologies if this has been asked before. When ripping a TV show Blu-ray that has a "Play All" option, is there any way to prompt MakeMKV to look for a playlist that will play every episode as a continuous program and rip it as a single video file? I admit I have no idea, from a technical s...

Re: Lossy conversion of subtitles
Ah, I understand. I only say "lossy conversion" because that's what the program says when there is a CC track on the disc: "CC Text > English (lossy conversion)"

Lossy conversion of subtitles
MakeMKV does this automatically with CC tracks, which is nice when the disc has no actual subtitles and just a CC track. Is there any thought to making lossy conversion an option for the subtitle tracks? It would be nice to have DVD subs redone as the nice Blu-ray-quality subs when ripping from a DV...

Re: Screener DVD problem. - Title with Special Attributes skipped
I'm also having the same kind of problem. It won't even get to the point where I can see the title structure. It just spins and spins on the opening screen forever.
DVD Passkey (the free version) did not open the disc.

Re: Nup, the registration key is apparently too old
"Current" registration key that says "until November 2015" is considered invalid by the program.

Re: RoboCop (remastered edition)
During the rip, you should have seen an error message about the BD+ not generating any FUT (fix up tables). It would have given the path to a tgz file that needs to be sent to svq@makemkv.com. Once that is done, Mike can dig out his BD Magic Wand (tm) and create an SVQ file to allow MakeMKV to deco...

RoboCop (remastered edition)
Best Buy stores have just put out a new edition of RoboCop, remastered at 4K for MGM's 90th. The disc contains some new form of BD+ that MakeMKV can't crack. A few days ago, someone else using MakeMKV reported on Blu-Ray.com that the program wouldn't even work (at least, that's my understanding of w...

Re: No new BETA key?
The purchased key does not expire, and there is no reason to believe it would stop working when (if) MakeMKV comes out of beta. In fact, having now looked at the purchase page, it specifically says the opposite, which is that the key should apply to all upgrades to MakeMKV, presumably forever, alth...

Re: How long until the end of the Beta?
As I posted in the other thread, it took almost a day into October to get the code that functioned through the end of November. I wouldn't assume the beta is over unless they make a post stating the beta is over.

Re: No new BETA key?
Ah. Ok. I wasn't around the last time. I can be patient, I guess. Also, if it helps anyone else, I found that deleting the ~/.MakeMKV/ directory reset everything and lets it run in Freeware mode for the next 30 days. So yeah - we've got some time for the key situation to settle out. http://i.imgur....

I remember the last time the key expired, it took about a day for the new one to go up. It did not go up at midnight.

Re: octobers key
Try a fresh reinstall of the latest version, then. It should be functional until November 9th. I tried that last night and it still didn't work for me. When checking registration information it did state that it should be good until Nov. 9, but I still got the pop-up stating the evaluation had ende...
