Got a BR-212 from Billy a couple of months ago. Good service and delivery, drive works great. Does work better than the LG and Asus drives I had been using, seems to handle problem discs better. Highly recommend his services.

After the replacement disc from Amazon also failed, I bought a copy from Walmart. Had no problem ripping that, first go out of the box. So another return to Amazon, to try to get a refund.

Amazon isn't doing well with replacements. I got January for a replacement, then December 9, finally December 4. But tonight got the notice that replacement won't arrive til December 9 again.

Anyone happen to have the title to episode number mappings for all the Westworld season sets from Amazon? Was hoping they were in disc order, but apparently not. Any other way to find it except empirically? Thanks.

I did. It's been awhile, so I don't recall whether I was able to rip it directly with MakeMKV, or if I had to go the intermediate step of copying the disk image with AnyDVD Ripper then use MakeMKV...

I had similar errors, a big fight ripping this set. Bought from Amazon, was only able to rip half the titles successfully. Returned for another set and was successful. Not the only time I had to return disks to get workable ones.

Make that 3 disks. Got a copy of Blade Runner Final Cut from Amazon today. Loaded it up and tried to set up the rip in 1.14.2. It also stuck at exactly the same place, about 25% into "decrypting content000.cer," then starting scsi timeout error messages. Opened the disk in AnyDVD and start...

Yeah, that did work. Used AnyDVD-HD Ripper to rip to hard drive, then MakeMKV to extract the needed title. Worked for both titles. Still wonder why MakeMKV had all the SCSI timeout issues where AnyDVD read it with no complaints...
