no errors whatsoever reported while ripping it

Hi

I am trying to rip the blu-ray "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (NIGHTMAREBEFOREXMAS_GBR)
I use MakeMKV 1.8.5 on MacOS X 10.9

After the ripping with the french audio and the french subtitles, when i try to read it on VLC, the video is scrambled

MakeMKV 1.8.4 crashing randomly on 10.9 DP6 with a Samsung external Bluray player with the error message "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit."
Crashing occurs too with the 1.8.3 version
