You were right. Makemkv shows it as 3d. It looks like I need to a) find a way to make a SBS or OU, or B) find a player that will work with my tv).

Please excuse me if I misunderstand your response, but I assume you are referring to playback of 3D. If I understand this correctly, makemkv is producing a 2d mkv file instead of a 3d.
