Re: Blu Ray Rips not playing on Sony W900a TV DVD Rips OK
Thanks, but Confused by your response??? Got the first part, DVD's have been around longer and are more common formats likely to be supported. Not sure I understood the second part. If the Blu Ray Rips work on WDLive, Various Blu Ray Players, and Samsung TV's then I assume there is something not ful...

Blu Ray Rips not playing on Sony W900a TV DVD Rips OK
My DVD's ripped with MKV all play just fine on my new TV KDL55W900A. With my BluRay's they all look like they are playing, but there is no video or audio. At least now on the VLC I can manually turn on subtitles when needed (before they did not come over at all). So that at least help...

No Forced Subtitle on Blu Ray, and Default on DVD's
I've been experimenting with MakeMKV for a while now and in general it seems to do a good to very good job overall. I have 2 problems that are keeping me from buying a license. I'm sure it is something stupid on my side, and I've not had the time to dig too deeply. I did some searches on the forum, ...
