MakeMKV Update Feed (Sparkle? XML? RSS?) for latest version?
MakeMKV has some process for checking whether or not there is a newer version, but I cannot figure out how it is doing this.
Is there an RSS feed or some other type of feed (XML or otherwise) that it is using to compare itself against a "known latest version"?

If you don't want to try to figure out the command-line settings for MakeMKV yourself, I highly recommend

Just in case anyone else finds this thread via Google and then can't find the MakeMKV folder in ~/Library/ -- that's because it isn't there :-)

Playback of Blu-Ray movies through VLC -- free as in beer?
Am I correct that the method [^1] of decrypting Blu-Ray movies for playback via VLC (or others) is a free feature of MakeMKV and will continue to work for free, even after MakeMKV leaves beta?
