I tried to rip a BD and I got a error message. So, to test if everything was OK, I tried ripping another BD that I successfully ripped a few years ago with the same BD drive and even that one didn't work anymore... Other than DASPI, does MakeMKV crash? Also, doest it tell you to install DASPI (DASPI is optional for majority of drives since 1.8.1, you don't have to install it unless MakeMKV tells you to do so). I'm also using MakeMKV 1.8.3 on OS X 10.9 DP1 and, for me, it's the DASPI kernel extension that doesn't load.
