i know it doesnt but i thought it might have been because every sector nearly had to be scanned as they were multiplex or whatever. i tried it was vlc player it works well but not as good as the original dvd. what i might try is recoding it with winavi problem is i might lose my subs. subs are impor...

I tried ripping centurion dvd and when i play it back on my media plaer it gitters. all other dvds i have ripped work well so far

is there a program that can convert mkv pgs sub files to vobsub that does it without having to redo the entire mkv file again?
so i can just open the mkv file with the software and it converts the subs to vobsub on the fly?

ofcourse it supports subtitles just like ogs ones
vobsubs work fine if i make a mkv file from a dvd the subs work great

my media player supports pgs format but not on mkv files. Does that make sense now?
In fact most portable media players wont.

My player does support PGS Subs but not PGS Subs converted with this program.

Sub - SMI - SSA SRT PGS
but the subtitle font needs to be UTF-8

Hey all Most media players don;t recognise the blu ray subtitle format and subtitles need to be converted to utf-8 in order to be able to be used on the media player. So has it this ability or is it able to be added in a future version. this program is great and i think with the subtitle conversion ...
