There is a serious problem with the zero fault tolerance of MKV - I'm on version 1.18.1 for Mac. The application used to have a 90% success rate with BluRay discs. Now it's at best 10%. A 2 hour movie has some 86,400 frames and I think we can honestly live with a few faulty frames but MKV seems to b...

I have had success ripping Blu-Ray discs and simply selecting the largest 'm2ts' file in the BDMV->STREAM folder. I use VLC with OS X Lion.
