Thanks for the reply. I have not, but the issue is intermittent so it may be recorder related. I was able to extract 1:47:00 from the disk using mkvmerge. (Loading the VOB) It resulted in a video that abruptly stops within media player classic. Windows Media Player seems to load the entire movie but...
