Here are the steps that I used: 1. Create both mkvs using whatever programs you prefer. 2. Open FOTR part 1 in mkvmerge. 3. Set the output filename to what you want. 4. Note the number of chapters (27). 5. On the global tab, check Enable splitting... ...after this duration. Place 6338s in the box. ...

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to MKV my Lord of the rings blurays,since they are extended versions each movie is in two blurays, is there anyway that I can merge two disks in one file?

How does it work when you use the original disk, rather than an ISO of it? Early in the log, it says the AACS directory is missing, so MakeMKV assumes it is an unencrypted disk. I copied the log file from C directory this time (below) maybe it gives more detail, I also will test and post one of the ISOs' log file which was converted correctly to see the log difference.
