Update: Installed the new drive and enclosure...same problem. :( So I installed the drive, Hard drive and MakeMKV on an older, slower PC in the house and Success! :D Don't know why, doesn't really matter, I'm good. Glad I got the new drive anyway, much nicer then the portable one I was using before....

Thanks, I'll give that a try again. Although I'm pretty sure at least one time I left it alone for quite a while.

Edit: Tried it again, after 20 minutes of rip, then all halted for 4 hours.

BTW, different movies ended at slightly different read rates. At first I thought this must be some sort of "riplock"?
