I have a few widescreen DVDs whose video playback ends up looking compressed from the sides while displaying in widescreen. Independence Day (special/extended edition) and some of the Survivor Heroes vs. Villains discs end up looking that way. It's not a DVD player, TV or computer playback issue/set...

Great product. Much better, faster and reliable than any other utility I've tried. So far, I've MKV'd about 75 standard discs without incident, whereas many other programs had problems with (and simply couldn't do) certain DVDs.
