Re: UHD support
There were hashed keys removed between yesterdays file and todays. Anyone know why? Like if those removed keys produced bad files? I've ripped a few movies that had keys removed in the new version. I carefully compared the two files, and I didn't see a single removal. In many cases the keys were re...

Re: MVC muxing improvement
The view order property seems to not be detected properly. I ripped a Blu-ray thats right-left (ie. MVC_Base_view_R_flag 1), and the resulting MKV has StereoMode 13, not 14 as I would expect. FWIW, I used the Hobbit Extended Unexpected Journey Disc 1 for this test. Tags for the 3D plane order are in...

Re: MVC muxing improvement
I don't think there will be an "official" solution thats as simple as providing the index to the MVC SEI depth plane, and considering that, its probably going to take ages to get any official spec everyone can agree on. In the meantime, I wouldn't be opposed to simply writing a track tag f...

Re: MVC muxing improvement
This would indeed be a great addition. Currently this information is simply lost as far as I know, which is of course anything but ideal. While the number of discs that have switched view order seem to be somewhat limited, it is a bit of an annoyance to validate every single rip and set the metadata...

Re: How to tell how many Dolby Atmos ceiling channels there
Atmos doesn't work like that, it doesn't have "discrete" channels in the traditional sense. Simplified: Atmos is object-based audio, which means it has explicit audio for various audio sources placed in a 3D space, and the Atmos receiver is then responsible to map those to discrete channel...

Re: Batman Begins file size
My Batman Begins is 15.5GB, English TrueHD and German AC3, no subtitles however. A rough estimate how big a AC3 stream of that movie length would be, it would seem to match your file size. And yes, the BD Info you listed probably includes the core AC3 track inside the TrueHD track, also, mpeg-ts is ...

Re: Forced subtitle label
Which would require additional logic for people like me who always rip both English and German tracks. So if I were to watch Avatar in english with english subs, having two forced tracks automatically flagged as forced might cause problems. Actually, not really, as long as the player does what the ...
