Re: Decryption On The Fly

OK, I won't argue anymore, I think I've gotten my point across. And a little off the subject, I checked the prices out on the Lumagen, they start at around 3,000.00$ US and go up to around 7,000.00$ ! That's insane just to make sure the grass is the right colour and and perceivable colour ba...

Re: Decryption On The Fly

It may not be realistic, but I thought it needed to be said. Thanks for the links, I'll have to read into that, it's a but beyond my understanding. It's been said before, with response directly from Mike. Example: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=654&p=1817&hilit=real+t...

Decryption On The Fly

Iv'e been SlySoft and now RedFox for many years now and it's been great, the program gives me the ability to decrypt discs so I can use MadVR with out having to save the entire disc contents to the hard drive, a practice that doesn't really interest me at all. However with the coming of UHD discs, R...

Re: How to Train Your Dragon - The Hidden World

Doesn't work. It errors out with "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit" when I decrypt the disc. I don't even get a chance to rip it. There are at least 3 different versions of this disc that I know of, you may have yet another version, you need to send a dump file, follow these in...

Re: Need recommendation for new drive.

Hello all I've currently got an asus bc-12b1st bd-rom drive. It's done well for the last couple years (have ripped well over 200+ titles) but lately has been giving me trouble. I last used it a couple months ago to rip some blu ray copies of the god father trilogy and it worked fine. Today I attemp...

If you're talking about UHD Blu-ray's then the drive must have a service code of NS50 (SVC NS50)

Re: AACS 2.0 on a normal bluray?

Thinking about it though, if they did this, then all the stand-alone Blu-ray players would need to be updated and this may not be possible when it comes to AACS 2.0. There is no way that AACS2.0 can be applied to Blu-ray players. Support for older players is basically non-existent. You can count on...

Re: AACS 2.0 on a normal bluray?

I think you have to follow these instructions, if you haven't already done so. I've seen version 57 on AACS 1.0, but I wouldn't put the powers that be to implement the new AACS 2.0 on standard Blu-ray's. That would certainly put a wrench into things. Thinking about it though, if they did this, then ...

Re: Seeking hardware recommendation: External USB Blu-Ray Pl

Without a doubt this is the best drive you can get IMO: http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-Su ... lg+blu+ray There is no rip-lock and it it's incredibly reliable. Also worth noting that a new version of this (not advertised by LG, but it is a slight upgrade) that will supposedly play more friendl...

Re: Seeking hardware recommendation: *internal* Blu-Ray driv

To expand Woodstock's answer, not all BDXL drives will read UHD Blu-ray's So far the only ones that I know that can are the LG BH16NS55 (a European model) and the LG WH16NS40, with a service code of N50. The problem with the LG WH16NS40 is that if you order one, you may end up with one with a servic...

Re: UHD Blu-ray

Log file of the attempted backups. There sure isn't much on that log file, did you follow the instructions in this tutorial ? /faq/item/8 According to the tutorial, I did it correctly. I agree that it's short. We'll give it a few days then, I'm sure it will be quite simple to deal with and they'll ...

Re: ripping uhd 4k the martian

I'm really sensitive to 24 fps judder _ it hurts my eyes and eventually I'll get a headache. I suspect that your eyes do not have an issue, but your brain does. Does this mean you can't watch TV shows either, as all are produced at either 23.976 fps or 25 fps? but it looks like Hollywood ...
