Thanks for the update on how it's working in 10.9b. I ran 10.9 DP1 for a bit but some of my crucial software was bugging out, so I rolled back to 10.8.4 to wait. It seems like MakeMKV is working normally in 10.9 DP2--now, after several days, is that what you are still seeing? I might go back up to 1...

There were only three things I was hoping for in the next release:

? Retina Support
? Interface improvement (not huge, but welcome nonetheless)
? Ripping status in dock icon

+1 for this. Right now I am minimizing the MakeMKV window just so I can mouse over it to see percentage/time left. A dock icon would be great. And, while we're on the subject of cosmetic improvements, I would love a retina version of the app and a bit of a GUI facelift would be nice as well.

The nightly builds of Handbrake now include support for Bitmap subtitles (the ones you get from MakeMKV BR rips). I have been using these nightly builds for a few weeks to encode my rips from MakeMKV and they seem to work just fine. As Handbrake only rolls their updates into an official version once...
