Re: Some form of visual security measure?
Ok...really embarrassing silly question time....how do I tell if it's interlaced sir? BDInfo? I'd say it is interlaced since Handbrake won't accept the mkv files created by MakeMkv.

Re: Some form of visual security measure?
Oh yes sorry folks! A long night spent messing around with rippers when it was a codec problem the whole time. Looks like I'm going to have to transcode this bitch...sigh. I know it's not a MakeMkv question but what do I use? RipBot264?

Re: Some form of visual security measure?
Checked the disc and it's cleaner than clean. For the first time I tried loading one of the mkv files into Handbrake and it couldn't process it at all. Is there anything I can do? Is there some alternative to MakeMKV that could defeat the protection? Thanks guys!

Re: Some form of visual security measure?
Sent an email to the creator of Hawaii Beaches and he says he spent $5000 on the protection for it. Seems like bullshit to me but what do I know.

VC-1 to H264?
I am a noob to makemkv but I can still appreciate how good it is. I used it for the second time today with two different ambient BluRays: Christmas Fireplace and Hawaii Beaches I put the generated mkv files on a usb key and attempted to play them with xbmc. The mkv files from the first BluRay, Chris...
