MakeMKV Blu-Ray rips can't play on Roku, remux fixes it??
On a brand new Roku Ultra, using Plex DirectPlay. The MKV file starts playing and then aborts. Remuxing with mkvmerge (no other changes) makes it work. "Lacing" is one of the few differences between the MKV files. Can anyone offer insight into what's going on? Here's the full diff: --- out...

Re: Display a "map" of a BD disk?
I guess I figured it out. For multi-segment titles, the data listed tells me enough that I can go look at individual m2ts streams to see what is different (e.g. Cars2 has a Spanish title sequence). For Batman Begins, MakeMKV does not tell me anything about the differences between titles. BDinfo show...

Re: Auto-selecting multiple languages and/or attachments
The selection criteria did most of what I want! Thanks. Is there a way to specify always to select Attachment tracks (cover art, I guess)?

Re: Auto-selecting multiple languages and/or attachments
"Select All" doesn't select all. It does not act recursively, just at a single level of the tree.
I'll look at the advanced usage forum. Thanks.

Re: Display a "map" of a BD disk?
Is there a link to this database? I can not find anything more than informal postings of BDInfo data... As for playlist, perhaps I just don't know how to interpret? I see: Source file name: 00012.mpls Duration: 2:20:02 Chapters count: 39 Size: 22.1 GB Segment count: 1 Segment map: 0 File name: title...

Display a "map" of a BD disk?
I have several disks which show multiple 20+ GB titles. Sometimes they are indistinguishable (same audio tracks, chapters, etc). Sometimes one of them has no chapters or has different audio tracks. I have deduced that this is sometimes done for multi-language titles, where things like the film title...

Auto-selecting multiple languages and/or attachments
Can I somehow tell MakeMKV to always select audio tracks in more than one language? For example: see attached screencap. I would always like to retain audio and subtitle tracks in English or French, but I don't care about Spanish. I would also like to retain Attachments. As it is today, I have to do...

Auto-selecting audio-tracks - misses some
MakeMKV is pretty amazing. I am ripping all of my (legit owned) Blu-Rays into MKV. I pretty much want *everything* on the Blu-Ray in the MKV - for archival and max compatibility. I see that MakeMKV automatically selects some audio tracks for me, but not all of them. This means I need to go through e...
