Just an FYI, resetting the system clock to Dec 31 2012 temporarily solves the issue.

I downloaded v1.7.9 for linux and installed it under linux mint (~Ubuntu). It worked flawlessly yesterday. today it says: MakeMKV v1.7.9 linux(x86-release) started This application version is too old.
