Thanks for your clarification.
Just a simple question:
in your opinion why XBMC Developpers can't get help from Makemkv developpers?
It could be a good mode to promote their software.
Bye Bye

Re: MakeMKV Rip 3D Blu-ray And See Extracted File Direct To
yes in 2D works correctly. but it's 2D. If you try to click in powerdvd on the 3D button you only get a fake 3D because powerdvd is not able to detect this type of 3D. For the cyberlink developpers this 3D is not standard. I have spent many month with cyberlink support to get that powerdvd12/13 can ...

Re: MakeMKV Rip 3D Blu-ray And See Extracted File Direct To
when i wrote "For your info Cyberlink Powerdvd12 and Cyberlink Powerdvd13 does not support the 3d extracted using MakeMkv."
It means that powerdvd can't read the 3D extracted "using" makemkv as tool to convert 3D bluray in 3D mkv.

Re: MakeMKV Rip 3D Blu-ray And See Extracted File Direct To
For your info Cyberlink Powerdvd12 and Cyberlink Powerdvd13 does not support the 3d extracted using MakeMkv. The official reason is that this type of 3D is not a correct standard. 2 years ago makemkv started to advertise this feature but actually the only HW players that support this 3D are the Mede...

Re: make an mvc 3d mkv from iso 3d bd thank you
For your info
Cyberlink does not support the 3D MVC in a MKV file.
I have opened an official ticket to try solving the issue but Cyberlink does not want to find a solution.
The latest email received by Cyberlink reports that :
the problem must be resolved by MATROSKA.org.

Re: iS MAKEMKV REALLY WHAT i NEED?
For example Anydvd HD can backup the Blu ray as ISO that Makemkv can't do. Which is probably why it's called MakeMKV rather than MakeISO. yes I know but the user has asked the difference between the two programs. In particular the backup option in makemkv it does not work with the 3D Bluray if you ...

Re: iS MAKEMKV REALLY WHAT i NEED?
For example Anydvd HD can backup the Blu ray as ISO that Makemkv can't do. Using Makemkv I have tried with different 3D movie for example to use the backup function and with a free sw i have tried to create an iso file but powerdvd13 can't read it. I suppose that there is other protection that MakeM...

Re: 3D MVC Option
Why a free player like xbmc can't read this type of file? [/quote] Why did you write MVC when it is not Real MVC codec?. it's not MVC but simple AVC. I sent 3 differents files created by MAKEMKV to Cyberlink and it has told me that those files are simple AVC. Opening the file with mkvinfo or mediai...

Re: 3D MVC Option
Is it possible that the Stereoscopic player Developpers has payed Makemkv team to get the solution? Not without getting ripped off (read: no). The specification for MVC in MKV was discussed on a *public*, *logged* Matroska mailing list. Why a free player like xbmc can't read this type of file? Why ...

Re: 3D MVC Option
Hi to All, After some days i asked to Cyberlink more info about their answer and i only got that Cyberlink closed the official ticket. In my opinion if Makemkv team wants to get more users it has to explain how to play this type of file. There is not sense to backup the 3D Movie in a MKV file if the...

Re: 3D MVC Option
Hi to All, There is a bad news for all POWERDVD12/13 users that they want to read MKV 3D created by MAKEMKV. The latest email received a few minutes ago cyberlink forwarded me the answer from powerdvd developpers team. The Answer is that the incompatibility must be resolved by MATROSKA team and not ...

Re: 3D MVC Option
Really...? Cyberlink have happily just said oh yes it all works plays 3d mkv just fine and they need a customer to forward them the technical information. PowerDVD was the second software DVD player to ever come out in the day. If these guys can't sniff around these forums or look at the matroska f...

Re: 3D MVC Option
Hi to All,
Could someone give me some technical information about the 3D MKV created by MAKEMKV to forward to Cyberlink SUpport?
It seems that cyberlink are not able to understand how are generated this type of MKV 3D.
thanks

Re: 3D playback inferior quality
Hi to All, At the moment PowerDVD 12/13 does not read this type of MKV 3D. I have opened an official ticket to cyberlink to try solving the issue but it seems (from Cyberlink support) that the mkv format created by MAKEMKV is incorrect. Could someone give me some technical information about the 3D M...
