After I make an MKV, I want to process the file through Handbrake before I import it into iTunes. However, when I run MakeMKV with a BluRay, Handbrake doesn't seem to create a viewable .mp4 (or .m4v) file.

I know the NAS supports larger files than the MakeMKV produced this time, because I already have larger files on it. So I end up ripping to local disk and move the file.

Are you, by chance, trying to save the output to a network location? This error may indicate that the system gave an error when trying to write a file larger than the storage location would accept, which can happen when using SMB networking ...

I'm not a Mac user, but I presume the following is significant regarding Macs with MakeMKV: It's highly recommended to install DASPI kernel extension to improve performance.
