I just installed MakeMKV 1.8.9 on a new Retina MacBook Pro 13” running Mavericks 10.9.2. I’m not able open any Blu-Rays.

When I launch the MakeMKV, the program gives me this error:

MakeMKV v1.8.9 darwin(x86-release) started
Error 'Scsi error - STATUS_05' occurred while issuing SCSI command 46020 ...

I gave Total Recall another try and it worked. The latest version of MakeMKV did the trick.

I was able to get MakeMKV to start decrypting Blu-Rays again by updating to the latest version. I thought I had the latest version installed, but apparently I did not. I also installed the DAPSI kernel extension (I hadn't been using it before).

I don't see a main page when I launch MakeMKV. It just goes straight to the application window. I am unable to find the "AACS" version anywhere. Is this because I'm using a Mac?
