As an ex-Apple Genius, I would strongly suggest the right click then choose open method.
Allowing any app to run is creating an unnecessary security risk. You only need to right click it the first time you run it, afterwards your Mac will trust the software.

It's because one will have French/Spanish graphics. Not subtitles, but graphics. For example, it may say "A Pixar Film" in English, but in the French "angle" it will say "Un Film De Pixar" or a sign may say "Toys" in one version and "Jouets" in French.
