ok installed the new 1.8.1 and tried to open this disc again four times and im pleased to say it opened on all occasions without error :) Also im now test ripping to hdd so fingers crossed my issue with this disc is fixed :mrgreen:

The copy of G.I. Joe that I stated in my first post above looks like the cover art below, (this is the outer paper jacket sleeves artwork) and has a UPC barcode 0 32429 07527 7. As I said in my post above, it ripped fine. If yours is different, that may be why I could rip mine and you couldn't.

My machine has no domains etc its just a straight admin user account and my problem still exists.

this was bought a few days ago and is a brand new disc, no marks nothing.

i have this same error with a different bluray disc, says it completes but then exits without error messages, only difference is turning on debug does not fix the issue for me, ive created a new thread above called g i joe rise of the cobra.

your using the mac version going by your sig, im using the windows version and i see someone else reported an issue and yet the mac version had ripped it ok (albeit a different disc), but wondering if the issues are from the windows version.

When i try to open this disc using the latest version, i get the usual window appear saying title # has length blagh blagh and it says operation successfully completed but then throws a fatal error occurred, program will now exit. message and all i can do is press ok and it closes.

ok quick and odd reply, i noticed my mkvs were changed to autoplay back using acestream otherwise known as torrentstream, i changed this back to vlc player and the speed increased to a normal 4.4x, so i then changed it back to ace stream and voila 0.0x changed back to vlc and the speed increased ...
