So I'm trying to build v1.17.6 on my Steam Deck. (keep getting the stuck on "Scanning CD-ROM devices" issue with v1.18.4)
I know you mentioned 1.17.6-bin is compatible with 1.18.4-oss, but I've been unable to build v1.17.6 with the 1.18.4-oss - perhaps it's a Steam ...
