That’s reassuring. The fact that activation itself doesn’t depend on an online verification server is a big plus. Keeping a backup of `_private_data.tar` also seems like a sensible precaution for preserving access to previously supported discs.

Could be a disc-specific issue or playlist obfuscation. I’d try updating MakeMKV itself first and then post the full log if it still fails. The skipped MPLS/M2TS entries suggest MakeMKV is having trouble parsing the disc structure.
