Following up on my previous post regarding the Verbatim 66718 external slim drive:
I connected the internal drive to a different enclosure to bypass the stock USB bridge, and MakeMKV successfully retrieved the actual hardware information:

I recently purchased a Verbatim 66718 external slim drive.
In MakeMKV, the drive is identified as Manufacturer: Verbatim and Product: 66718 (Revision 1.00). The internal SATA-to-USB bridge is hiding the actual drive model and blocking vendor commands.
