i just bought BU40N from Ebay, manufactured June 2019. I replaced the DVD writer in my 2016 notebook (Windows 10, https://www.notebookcheck.com/Medion-Akoya-E6432-MD99970.190620.0.html) with the BU40N and installed MakeMKV. It showed me the following information:
