No answer for those discs specifically, but I had a stack of discs BU40N failed on. Purchased an Buffalo drive and it processed 80% of the 'bad' discs.

I'm on S8D2 and have had no issues with the episodes lining up correctly. Though I cannot get it to read S8E06 off S8D1, I keep getting an error. Didn't have time to troubleshoot tonight, just moved on to the next disc for now.
