Hello All!
I'm curious if there is a way to modify the default behavior. After inserting a bluray disk and after it does it's scan of the disk, it generates a list of potential files to convert to mkv files. I then have to go in and uncheck almost all of them and just keep the large file sizes ...

If you want to simply flash it into a LibreDrive, check out the guide (https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19634) and treat it as a LG BU40N.
Otherwise you'll have to be more specific than just "failing" for any potential help.
