My Verbatim has a USB-C to USB-A connection. I also tried connecting it to the USB-C port with an adapter.

I also had the idea of buying a Y-cable, like we used to use for external CD drives, but I can’t find one with the right wiring.

I need to check again what volume the Blu-ray had.

The old disks and also DVDs continue to play. I also had one newer Blu-ray from 2025 that worked as well. I get the impression that, despite using a USB hub, it could still be related to the power supply. The Verbatim 43888 has a label with V5/A3 on it. But I haven’t yet seen a USB hub that can ...

The last Blu-ray it recognized was from 2015. Therefore, I came to that conclusion. But these are “normal” Blu-rays, not UHD. How can I tell whether they’re BD25 or BD50?

I have a Verbatim 43888 and I’ve already flashed it. So far I haven’t had any problems with Blu-rays, but once the discs are newer than 2015, the drive no longer reads them. Both Windows and MakeMKV show that there’s no disc in the drive. I’ve already connected the drive through a USB hub with ...
